Collegiate Partnership

The St. Paul Campus Career Center is a one of a kind partnership between three colleges at the University of Minnesota:

• College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences

• College of Design

• College of Continuing Education

Through this partnership the colleges are able to expand opportunities for students due to more staff collaboration, a reduction in redundancy of office services, and an increase in employment opportunities that results from sharing employer contacts and job postings.  Employers also benefit due to simplified access to students across multiple majors and colleges.

The administration in each of the three colleges should be commended for their vision and commitment to the St. Paul Campus Career Center and collegiate collaboration.  This unique partnership has recently been praised by President Bruininks as an example to follow as the University moves forward in its Strategic Positioning Process.
