Please describe your job:
I advise US government personnel (NASA & NOAA) on systems acquisition matters for a next generation environmental satellite. I also prepare presentations for US Cabinet-level government executives.

What from your undergraduate educational experience was most helpful in preparing you for this career?
My electives in marketing and agricultural engineering were most helpful for my current position. I also completed the four-year Air Force ROTC program while at the University of Minnesota, which gave me a considerable amount of leadership experience before I graduated.

What advice do you have for current students?
Do not be afraid to try something difficult—it may lead you to great rewards.

Is there anything else you would like to add that we didn't ask you?
If you serve your country as an officer of the US Military, you will have many opportunities to work for companies offering attractive salaries.
