As a career leader I have gained a lot of background and
knowledge about strategies to obtaining internships and
ways to be prepared for my future. Since joining, the
professionals in the career center have helped me through
the steps of creating an effective resume and signing-up on
GoldPASS. I have also had the opportunity to meet a lot
of new people. The Career Leader Program has been so
helpful to me and has opened up many new opportunities
for my career development. These are all accomplishments
that put me ahead in securing a rewarding internship in my
future as a student.
This summer I am studying abroad in Cuernavaca, Mexico.
The Study Abroad Office here at the U of M helped me
figure out my plans. I am staying there for three months while receiving 20 credits of Spanish. I am very excited to leave and am very happy with my decision!
