About our Students

Undergraduate Students
The St. Paul Campus Career Center serves roughly 3,000 undergraduate students in over 25 different areas of study in the College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences, the College of Design and the College of Continuing Education. These students are notable for their leadership skills, internship experience and excellent academic preparation:

  • The majors within these colleges are applied – students learn skills that apply directly to jobs in your industry.
  • The vast majority of our students have participated in at least one internship during their time at the University, gaining excellent skills for their first job.
  • There are over 45 student organizations related to the majors in our colleges, allowing the students to gain extensive leadership experience while on campus.

Graduate Students
The St. Paul Campus Career Center also serves Masters and PhD students on the St. Paul Campus. Approximately 50% of these students plan to go into non-academic careers. That means they're hoping to work for you! The Career Center is committed to helping you meet your staffing needs for graduate-level professionals and to helping our 1,200 graduate students prepare for success in their fields.
