About our Students

Undergraduate Students

The St. Paul Campus Career Center serves roughly 2500 undergraduate students in over 25 different areas of study in the College of Food Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences, the College of Design and the College of Education and Human Development.  These students are notable for their leadership, internship experience and excellent academic preparation:

  • The majors within these colleges are applied – students learn skills that apply directly to jobs in your industry.

  • The vast majority of our students have participated in a least one internship during their time at the University gaining excellent skills for their first job.

  • There are over 45 student organizations related to the majors in our colleges allowing the students to gain extensive leadership experience while on campus.

Graduate Students

The St. Paul Campus Career Center also serves Masters and PhD students on the St. Paul Campus.  In a recent survey of these students, half of these graduate students from our 19 programs plan to go into non-academic careers. That means they're hoping to work for you! The St. Paul Campus Career Center is committed to helping you meet your staffing needs for graduate-level professionals and to helping our 1500 graduate students prepare for success in their fields.

We invite you to post your internships and job opportunities or schedule on campus interviews through GoldPASS, the jobs, on campus interviews, and career events website for the entire University of Minnesota.
