Environmental Horticulture

Are you interested in managing turfgrass for golf courses or athletic facilities?  Are you interested in growing and caring for flowers, vegetables, or other plants?  Are you interested in working at the public garden or arboretum?  Are you interested in designing landscapes?

An Environmental Horticulture major prepares you for a career in installing and maintaining landscapes at both residential and commercial sites; overseeing the maintenance of turfgrass at recreational sites such as golf courses; or managing a retail garden center.

Environmental Horticulture graduates typically work as landscape designers, golf course superintendents, or retail garden center managers.
