

Different graduate programs require different types of admissions tests so it is very important to research graduate program application requirements before completing graduate admissions tests. In some instances, you may find that a standardized test is not required. Some of the most common admission tests are listed below:
GRE – Graduate Record Exam. Commonly used for a wide variety of graduate level programs includes sections to assess analytical writing, verbal, and quantitative skills using a variety of question types for each area.
GMAT – Graduate Management Aptitude Test. This test is used for admission into Business programs. The test is intended to assess basic verbal, mathematical, and analytical writing skills.
LSAT – Law School Admissions Test. The LSAT is used by law schools as a way to assess reading and verbal reasoning skills which are necessary to succeed in law school.
