Welcome to InterNetwork

InterNetwork is a searchable database of contacts and feedback about previous internship experiences, for and by students served by the St. Paul Campus Career Center.  This is a source for information about students’ past internships to help you identify opportunities that might meet your learning objectives and career planning goals.  It is NOT a listing of current internship openings (for current listings, go to GoldPASS, the new U-wide job and resume posting system).

LEARN ABOUT INTERNSHIPS
You’ll find contact information for internship supervisors in this database.  When you contact the supervisor:

• Introduce yourself (name, U of M, major) and explain how you got this person’s contact information (the internship database of the St. Paul Campus Career Center).

• Explain why you’re calling (for information about internship opportunities) and ask if they’re the appropriate contact or whether they can refer you to that person.

• Thank them for their help!

The purpose of InterNetwork is to share information about your internship experience with other students served by the St. Paul Campus Career Center who are looking for internships, so please keep the following in mind:

• Both supervisor contact information and internship feedback will be very useful to searchers; please include both.

• Please edit your entry for spelling, clarity and positivity (if your internship was challenging, what did you learn from it or how could it be more beneficial to the next intern)?  Staff reserves the right to edit entries.
