Each year the St. Paul Campus Career Center coordinates recruiters from government, business and industry to visit the campus and conduct interviews for full-time/permanent and internship positions. This is a convenient way for students to interview with employers without having to leave campus. To sign up for on campus interviews, follow these three steps:
Review the employer interview schedule including company, positions, interview dates - determine if you want to participate.
Print and read the On-Campus Interviews Student Guide which clearly explains how to use the GoldPASS system for On Campus Interviewing.
Enter the GoldPASS system to set up an account and sign up for on-campus interviews
Schedule a mock interview with the St. Paul Campus Career Center by calling 612-624-2710
Employers who come onto campus have high expectations for student resumes and interviewing skills. All students submitting their resumes for on campus interviews are strongly encouraged to have their resume critiqued by a staff member in the St. Paul Campus Career Center prior to submitting it to employers. It is also strongly encouraged that students attend our interview workshop and it is expected that you will conduct a mock interview with a professional staff person. For a list of drop in hours and workshop times visit our online calendar.
Please note that different industries have different recruiting methods when hiring new employees. On campus interviewing is a helpful job search tool for many majors, but not all. Students who will typically work with smaller employers or non-profit organizations may find other job searching methods more valuable. For individual assistance with your job search contact the St. Paul Campus Career Center front desk to schedule an appointment at 612-624-2710.
