Are you interested in the care and health of animals? Are you interested in food animal production? Do you have an interest in research to create or modify products that improve the quality of life for humans, animals and plants?
An Animal Science major prepares you for a career in marketing small and large animal pharmaceutical, feed, and management products to businesses and producers; managing the business operation for a pet store, feed, or livestock supply company; being a cooperative extension agent; or conducting biotechnology research in large private companies or government agencies. You may wish to continue your education in the College of Veterinary Medicine.
