A Retail Merchandising major prepares you for a career in supervising employees in a large or small retail store; working as a buyer or purchasing manager to obtain the highest quality merchandise at the lowest possible purchase cost; working as a sales rep for pharmaceutical firms, manufacturers and wholesalers; or becoming a visual merchandiser to ensure store windows and displays will draw customers.
Retail Merchandising graduates typically work as store managers, business analysts, buyers, visual merchandisers, self-employed business owners, and wholesale and manufacturing sales representatives.
